Join us at the Spartan Terrace for an engaging presentation on Italian culture and cuisine as we explore Italy's rich history, culture, art, and religious traditions. We will journey through Italy’s past as Dr. David Zacker, Professor II of Humanities, shares his insights into the country's values and customs and how they have shaped modern Italian society. Professor Kim Rother will discuss Italian culinary traditions and their significance in Italian daily life, reflecting regional diversity and authenticity. To enhance this cultural experience, participants will have the opportunity to sample mini bites of authentic Italian delicacies, including:
· Balsamic Vinegar
· Focaccia
· Parmesan Cheese
· Truffle Mushroom Pasta
· Gelato
Don’t miss this immersive opportunity to learn about and taste the essence of Italy’s cultural and culinary heritage!
Due to space limitations, registration is required. On-site registration will be accepted on a space-available basis. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. This event is open to current ECC students, staff, and friends of ECC.
