2024 - ECC Marketing and Communications Department Earns 17 Awards from NCMPR

Elgin Community College’s Marketing and Communications team received 17 awards at the 2024 National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) District 3 Conference for excellence in print design, digital, video, photography, and communications. The Medallion Award winners were announced on September 26 during the NCMPR’s annual District 3 conference, which this year was held in Cleveland, Ohio.

The team earned 5 more awards compared to the previous year. The awards included four first-place gold, seven second-place silver, and six third-place bronze medallions. 

The NCMPR Medallion Awards recognize outstanding achievement in design and communication in each of NCMPR's seven districts. NCMPR District 3 includes community colleges in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin, and the Canadian province of Ontario. The regional competition is exclusive to marketing and public relations professionals at two-year colleges.

ECC’s Marketing and Communications team has earned more than 100 awards at the district and national level in the last six years.

The National Council for Marketing and Public Relations is the only organization of its kind that exclusively represents marketing and public relations professionals at community and technical colleges.
