Bitcoin's creation in 2009 spawned a multi-trillion-dollar industry in less than 15 years. It has also become a powerful political force in the U.S., recently culminating in President Trump's executive order to launch a federal bitcoin strategic reserve.
For both the curious and the critical, we'll cover bitcoin's origins, its place in the cryptocurrency industry, and its current and future roles in U.S. politics and the global financial system.
